Reflections On The Scripture: This blessed verse in Numbers presents us with a remarkable representation of our spiritual family. The Levites were specially chosen by God from amongst His children to serve in the tabernacle. They were an invaluable gift that God had provided to facilitate the communion between His worried children and Himself. So are we, brothers and sisters. God has chosen each of us as His own from amidst the population, entrusting us with individual spiritual gifts and talents. It's up to us now to rise, to acknowledge this gift and purpose bestowed by our heavenly Father, and utilize our unique talents to serve in His metaphysical tabernacle that is the world today. We are God’s chosen and His gifting is our calling to form a bond of unity and sanctuary with mankind.
