Verse of the Day
Ecclesiastes 4:2
Reflections On The Scripture: This verse from Ecclesiastes may seem to carry a sad undertone, however, it brings comfort and peace when interpreted rightly. The statement is not a lament on the living, rather it's an acknowledgment of the spiritual fulfillment that the deceased have attained. In the earthly realm, tribulations and challenges abound, which can lead to weariness even in the strongest of hearts. However, our dear departed ones have found rest from these challenges. They no longer have to face trials but are at peace for eternity. This should give us a sense of purpose - to live our lives with hope, resilience, and faith, so that when our time comes, we too can experience this eternal peace and comfort.
