Reflections On The Scripture: Just like Jeremiah, we sometimes find ourselves in a 'dungeon,' a difficult and hopeless situation. We may feel like we are stuck in mire, uncertain of where to move or how to proceed. But remember this, God is always with us, even in our lowest moments in the deepest dungeons. When we feel shackled with problems and we seem to sink in the dilemmas of life, trust God's promise to be with us and to rescue us. His love never fails and His ability to transform our 'mire' into a stepping stone towards greater things is irrefutable. Let us lift up our eyes and souls to Him, for He will pull us up with cords of unwavering faithfulness.
