Verse of the Day
Mark 8:26
Reflections On The Scripture: The Lord is often setting us on a path of secrecy as He works in our life, not for His benefit, but for ours. This verse shows His grace and understanding. The man healed by Jesus is given instructions not to go into the town or tell anyone there about what happened. This is because the divine transformation that has happened within us sometimes need a time of silence and solitude before it can truly take root. In moments of overwhelming blessings, we might feel the need to immediately share our joy with the world. Yet, there’s wisdom in treasuring, nurturing, and understanding the depth of His work first. Like a seed that needs good soil, warmth, and water before it sprouts, allow His work within you to establish deep roots before you share your harvest.
