Verse of the Day
Mark 1:20
Reflections On The Scripture: This verse highlights an immediate and unconditional response to the call of Jesus. Just like James and John left their earthly father to follow their Heavenly Father, we are also encouraged to step away from our daily comforts and pursuits in pursuit of His higher calling. It's not to say that we should abandon our responsibilities, but rather prioritize them according to God's divine will. The essence here is surrender, obedience and immediate responsiveness to God when he calls us. Remember, when God calls us to serve Him, He equips us with everything we need to fulfill His purpose, surpassing even what we think our earthly life may offer.
