Verse of the Day
John 20:19
Reflections On The Scripture: Even on this first day of the week, despite the doors being shut out of fear, Jesus made His presence known. He came to reassure His disciples, standing amidst them to proclaim, 'Peace be unto you'. This takes us to the heart of a fundamental truth in our faith: The Lord can reach us no matter how tightly shut our doors may be, whether they are doors of fear, doubt, or even despair. His divine peace can penetrate any barriers that we or this world construct. And so, let us remember, when fear seems to enclose us, Christ's peace is but a prayer away. He stands in our midst, ready and waiting to bring tranquility to our turbulent hearts. His peace is a promise, and it does not rely on our circumstances, but upon His unfaltering presence.
