Verse of the Day

2 Corinthians 10:9
That I may not seem as if I would terrify you by letters.
Reflections On The Scripture: In reading 2 Corinthians 10:9, we are reminded of the ability that communication holds. It can bond us, toe us together in understanding, but it can also create fear if we wield it without grace and understanding. It was Paul's intent not to foster dread in the hearts of the Corinthians with his letters, but inspire, enlighten, and motivate. In similar manner, we too should bear in mind the power of our words and ensure they act to uplift rather than derail. For the words we craft and send out into the world are a reflection of who we are in Christ. They should build bridges, not walls; inspire hope, not fear; foster love, not misunderstanding. We are messengers of God's word and love, let's ensure we communicate in a way that glorifies Him.
