Verse of the Day

Jeremiah 2:6
Neither said they, Where is the LORD that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, that led us through the wilderness, through a land of deserts and of pits, through a land of drought, and of the shadow of death, through a land that no man passed through, and where no man dwelt?
Reflections On The Scripture: This verse reflects upon the human tendency to forget the blessings and guidance we have received when we reach a place of comfort. The Israelites, after being brought out of Egypt, through the wilderness, and places fraught with trials and tribulations, failed to remember and attribute their success to the Lord. It's easy to forget the trying moments once we are out of it, and fail to recognize the guiding and protecting hand that steered us through. Let this verse serve as a reminder to us, in our own comfortable spaces and successful phases, to never forget the divine intervention that has helped us navigate through our toughest times. Remember, we are never alone in our journey. Even in places "where no man passed through, and where no man dwelt”, God is present, leading us forward. Acknowledge Him, and let our gratitude be known.
