Verse of the Day

Job 19:20
My bone cleaveth to my skin and to my flesh, and I am escaped with the skin of my teeth.
Reflections On The Scripture: Commonly we encounter moments of adversity, similar to Job, that leave us feeling drained or clinging to hope by a thread. In these times, we may feel as if we barely managed to escape, surviving with just the 'skin of our teeth'. But we ought to remember, no matter how dire the circumstance, we are never alone. The Lord is with us in every trouble, guiding us out of the darkest valleys. When we feel like we've lost everything, actually, we have gained something of immeasurable worth – an experience that strengthens our faith, resilience, and draws us closer to God. So, when feeling defeated, take heart. God always sees us through to the other side and what may have seemed like a narrow escape, in the grand design of our lives, is a divine path to a stronger, brighter future.
