Verse of the Day

Jeremiah 15:15
O LORD, thou knowest: remember me, and visit me, and revenge me of my persecutors; take me not away in thy longsuffering: know that for thy sake I have suffered rebuke.
Reflections On The Scripture: My dear friends, God is fully aware of our struggles, our pains and our persecutors. In Jeremiah 15:15, the prophet is pouring his heart out to the Lord, seeking His intervention, displaying a vulnerability that each one of us can relate to. Yet, notice how Jeremiah acknowledges that his sufferings have been for the sake of the Lord, demonstrating an unwavering faith. This is a reminder for us to endure our trials with grit and grace. And remember, God's 'longsuffering' isn't neglect, but a divine patience that works for our ultimate good. God's vengeance belongs to Him alone; He is our defender and our sure refuge. In our most turbulent times, may we do as Jeremiah did - present our pains before God, wait patiently on Him, understanding that His plans are perfect and that He will vindicate us in due time.
