Verse of the Day

Isaiah 50:2
Wherefore, when I came, was there no man? when I called, was there none to answer? Is my hand shortened at all, that it cannot redeem? or have I no power to deliver? behold, at my rebuke I dry up the sea, I make the rivers a wilderness: their fish stinketh, because there is no water, and dieth for thirst.
Reflections On The Scripture: This verse speaks about the undeniable, limitless power of God, exerted with sovereignty and magnitude. It is as though God is calling upon us, asking us to confront our doubts about His capability to save and redeem. When you face hardships outsizing your human capacity, remember that His hand is not shortened, meaning His power hasn't diminished. His ability to dry up the sea, to make prosperous lands into wastelands, symbolizes His omnipotence over our biggest challenges. In fact, His power stretches beyond the natural to the supernatural. So let us not turn away or grow deaf to His call; let us not believe that any situation is beyond His redemption. Rather let us trust in His deliverance and invite His life-giving presence into those barren places in our lives.
