Verse of the Day

Ezekiel 27:15
The men of Dedan were thy merchants; many isles were the merchandise of thine hand: they brought thee for a present horns of ivory and ebony.
Reflections On The Scripture: The scripture here paints a beautiful picture of trade and prosperity achieved through the gifts endowed by the Lord. Like the prosperous city with its traders and merchandise, each of us has been blessed with unique talents and gifts, pearls of great value that are parts of our spiritual being. God has equipped us each with distinctive abilities that can be used to serve Him and instigate the flourishing of His kingdom. Just as the men of Dedan brought valuable gifts, we should remember to offer our own skills and talents back to God as a sign of our love and gratitude. It is when we utilize the gifts God has graciously given us for His greater glory, that we truly find purpose and fulfillment in our lives, this is the biblical principle of stewardship in practice.
