Verse of the Day

Deuteronomy 13:8
Thou shalt not consent unto him, nor hearken unto him; neither shall thine eye pity him, neither shalt thou spare, neither shalt thou conceal him:
Reflections On The Scripture: This verse from Deuteronomy teaches us about the importance of standing firm in our faith and not falling into the traps of deception. The world will present us many scenarios where it is easy to compromise on our beliefs, to consent or conceal the actions of those against the truth, but the Lord instructs us not to. We're reminded that being a Christian involves courage and absolute trust in the Word of God, even when society might push us to make compromises. When we do this, we demonstrate our loyalty to God and our steadfastness in truth, and this, in turn, sets an example for others and can be instrumental in leading them closer to God.
