Verse of the Day

Ezekiel 35:6
Therefore, as I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will prepare thee unto blood, and blood shall pursue thee: sith thou hast not hated blood, even blood shall pursue thee.
Reflections On The Scripture: Our Heavenly Father presents to us a grave admonition in Ezekiel 35:6. It extends beyond the literal reading of the verse to indicate that our actions and choices create a ripple effect that circles back to us. If we live by the sword, if our actions are steeped in violence and malice, then it is exactly the same that will come upon us. God’s word is saying that, in life, we tend to attract what we are, not what we want. If you live in anger and hatred, it will come back to you. Therefore, it is incumbent upon us to choose love and kindness, to sow seeds of harmony and not discord, to promote life and not death. Thus, as we navigate the stormy seas of life, may we remember that what we sow, we reap. Let's strive then to sow seeds of love, peace and kindness, for that will determine the harvest of our destiny.
