Verse of the Day

Luke 13:27
But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.
Reflections On The Scripture: This verse is a powerful reminder that God is fully aware of our actions, good and bad, and that it is impossible to deceive Him. Our Lord takes no pleasure in wickedness or deceit. While on Earth, we have the freedom to take the path of righteousness and display kindness, love, and faithfulness, or to stray away from His teachings and engage in wrongful deeds. However, it is essential to remember that ultimately, when the curtain falls, only those who have genuinely sought God's kingdom, lived in accordance to His teachings, served Him faithfully, and loved their neighbors will be recognized by Him. Therefore, while there is still time, we should strive to live a life that glorifies the Lord, and refrain from participating in acts that could lead to our demise. Do not find yourself amongst the workers of iniquity, for the Lord takes no pleasure in disowning His children. Turn your heart away from wrongdoings and towards His light, to ensure that when the time comes, you will be counted among His faithful servants.
