If there's absence of love in our hearts, it signifies a disconnect from God, because love is the very essence of His nature. Remember, you cannot truly know God without experiencing and expressing His kind of love. A life void of love is a life devoid of God's presence. Cultivating the love of God in our hearts is how we come to truly know Him. His love, ever-abiding and relentless, is the greatest evidence of His presence in our lives.
