Verse of the Day

1 Chronicles 21:13
And David said unto Gad, I am in a great strait: let me fall now into the hand of the LORD; for very great are his mercies: but let me not fall into the hand of man.
Reflections On The Scripture: David, in his wisdom, recognized the vast distinction between the mercies of God and that of mankind. This truth remains palpable in our lives today. Every human, no matter how generous or kind-hearted, is limited by their earthly existence. God, on the other hand, is boundless in His compassion, patience, and love. Our greatest comfort, then, is to entrust our lives in the benevolent hands of God, knowing fully well that His mercies are new every morning and His grace abounds even in our deepest straits. So let us confidently echo David's plea, not fearing the challenges and adversities that life may bring, but standing assured in the truth that our God’s mercies are indeed great, unfailing, and everlasting.
