Verse of the Day

Joshua 7:7
And Joshua said, Alas, O LORD God, wherefore hast thou at all brought this people over Jordan, to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites, to destroy us? would to God we had been content, and dwelt on the other side Jordan!
Reflections On The Scripture: In times of trials and adversity, like Joshua, we might question God's plan for us. We might long for the comfort of the 'other side of Jordan', the places and times where things seemed easier or more familiar. But, remember, it's during these challenging periods that God is molding us, refining us, creating within us a persevering spirit, and nurturing strength. The good shepherd doesn't lead his sheep into danger without a plan for deliverance. Similarly, God has not brought us this far to abandon us. It may not seem so in the midst of a storm, but rest assured, with every trial, He is setting us up for a greater triumph. As we journey through our personal 'Jordans', take heart in knowing that the very hand that leads us to challenge, is that same faithful hand that will lead us into victory.
