Verse of the Day

Mark 9:12
And he answered and told them, Elias verily cometh first, and restoreth all things; and how it is written of the Son of man, that he must suffer many things, and be set at nought.
Reflections On The Scripture: In this verse, we find a profound truth about the journey of our lives. Just like the Son of Man, we all must go through trials and tribulations. They can make us feel discounted and cast aside, but let that not dishearten you. Instead, understand that they are a part of a process designed to restore and renew. Remember that Elias had to come first to restore all things? Likewise, it is through our struggles and sufferings that we are shaped, refined and ultimately restored. So when you find yourself in the crushing grip of life's hardships, hold on tight, for it’s often through these trials we find our true strength and potential. In the same way the Son of Man emerged from his sufferings with resurrection power, so too can you rise from your hardships with new life and purpose.
