Verse of the Day

Matthew 20:15
Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? Is thine eye evil, because I am good?
Reflections On The Scripture: In life, we sometimes behave like workers in the vineyard, crestfallen when others, perhaps even those we consider less deserving, are blessed abundantly. We question the fairness in it, as if we have the right to arbitrate on God's acts of grace. But Matthew 20:15 prompts us to rethink this mindset; it reminds us that God's generosity is His alone to give - we don't get to decide who is deserving. Instead of harboring resentment, we should rejoice, for this scripture teaches us about God's astounding goodness and mercy, that it is purely grace-based and not performance-oriented. It’s a call for us to cultivate an heart of gratitude and love, not one darkened by envy and entitlement, and to understand that God's blessings are not limited resources but an infinite outpouring of His love for all His children.
