Verse of the Day
Psalms 89:50
Reflections On The Scripture: In this verse from Psalms, it's so clear that we all bear burdens, whether they be from our personal troubles or the brunt of the world's struggles. It's OK to carry those burdens in our hearts and seek relief in prayer. Yet, we should realize that the Lord is bigger than any reproach or any mighty people that may disparage us. Therefore, let's bring everything to God--all our fears, all our reproaches. And then, let's leave these burdens at His feet, trusting fully that He will handle them. God hasn't called us to live weighed down by reproach but to live free in His unwavering love and grace.
