Verse of the Day

Psalms 78:45
He sent divers sorts of flies among them, which devoured them; and frogs, which destroyed them.
Reflections On The Scripture: This verse from Psalms reminds us of the divine power and control God exercises over every element of creation. Although He is loving, God can also bring forth a plague of frogs or a swarm of flies, if it serves His larger purpose. This should serve as a beckoning for us to stay in alignment with His will. The tumult and struggle we often face in life, may not always be the stroke of hapless fate, but divine correction seeking our amendment. We must therefore strive towards spiritual growth, focusing not on what we want, but on what God desires for us. Even in adversity, let us remember, it is His love and mercy that prevails.
