Verse of the Day
Psalm 149:4
Reflections On The Scripture: The graces bestowed upon us by our Lord are wondrous and plentiful. He takes a deep, profound pleasure in us, his creations and dwells in our humility. When we are humble, we acknowledge our dependence on Him and disown our human pride that veers us off the path of righteousness. In fulfilling this, we're given the crown of victory, a testament to the triumph, not of our limited human strength and intelligence, but of the divine love, grace, and power of God at work in us. This victory isn't merely a worldly one - it manifests itself in our lives as peace, joy and a deep fulfillment that surpasses all human comprehension. So let us strive to be humble, to keep our hearts in a state of gentleness and acquiescence to God's will and rejoice in the gracious victory He so lovingly bestows.
