Verse of the Day

Psalm 112:5
“Good will come to those who are generous and lend freely, who conduct their affairs with justice.”
Reflections On The Scripture: As we move in our daily lives, let us be reminded of the blessings that come from being generous and lending freely. Our Creator designed us to be vessels of blessings for each other. When we use our resources to help others, we act in accordance with God's heart. Just as He is merciful and generous, we also ought to be. Similarly, conducting our affairs with justice is a manifestation of our love for God. He is a just God who values equity and fairness. When we treat others with fairness, we let God's justice permeate our environments, hence attesting to His character. Our daily life is an immense field full of opportunities to express generosity and justice, so let us live the spirit of God's word in this verse. Let us affirm the principle that in giving, we receive, and in working with fairness, we nourish the society we live in. An immeasurably full life awaits those who choose to model their lives after these divine principles of generosity and justice, as the verse promises. So let every act of generosity bring joy to our hearts and every decision made with justice bring peace to our souls.
