Verse of the Day

Nehemia 2:16
And the rulers knew not whither I went, or what I did; neither had I as yet told it to the Jews, nor to the priests, nor to the nobles, nor to the rulers, nor to the rest that did the work.
Reflections On The Scripture: In this verse from Nehemiah, we, too, are reminded of the value of acting with wisdom and discretion. Just as Nehemiah kept his intentions private until he was ready, so should we sometimes keep our plans and dreams within our hearts until the proper time. For there is wisdom in silence and a time for revealing. Let us understand the importance of maintaining our secrecy in certain affairs until we are fully prepared. Just as God works behind the scenes in our lives, we too can work quietly, showing our deeds when the time is ripe. Trust in God’s ultimate plan and timing, and let Him guide when and how to reveal your works.
