Verse of the Day
Matthew 18:23
Reflections On The Scripture: Our lives are like unto the servants in the kingdom of heaven, accountable to a loving and just King. The king in this parable seeks accountability, not to punish but to understand and nurture. This scripture encourages us, to reflect and take into account our actions, words, and thoughts - not out of fear, but out of the yearning for growth and improvement. As believers, we are urged to live lives aligned with the divine calling, to embody the love of our King in every aspect of our living, and in the process, become better versions of ourselves. God, the King, invites us into a relationship of responsibility, trust, and holistic accountability. One day, we will all give account for our lives. The sincere question each of us must answer is, how are we preparing for that accounting?
