Verse of the Day
Mark 14:41
Reflections On The Scripture: This scripture in the book of Mark is a powerful reminder of the sacrifice Christ made on our behalf. He urged his followers to rest, knowing full well the ordeal that he was about to endure. In moments of our own hardship, we ought to remember Jesus' steadfast spirit, his brave acceptance of the crucifixion awaiting him. He knew that his suffering was inevitable, and he faced it with grace and poise. We may not always understand why we're called to endure certain trials and tribulations. But take heart, for Jesus, the son of man, endured the greatest betrayal and pain, to bring us all into Salvation. Allow this truth to give us peace and rest in times of trouble.
