Verse of the Day

Luke 3:20
Added yet this above all, that he shut up John in prison.
Reflections On The Scripture: The Word reminds us that, in the midst of the strife, the innocent sometimes pay the price while the guilty stay free. Beloved John, a paragon of virtue and faithfulness, found himself locked behind prison bars. Yet, this speaks to a larger truth: the righteous are often tested, but it is never a punishment—it's a preparation for a divine elevation. In the face of adversity, let us not lose heart. For God sees not as man sees; He weighs the heart and his plans for us are always of victory, not of defeat. He reminded us of this when John, confined physically, was freed spiritually. Remember, adversity before success is not a curse, it's a course set by the Lord for us to follow and grow.
