Verse of the Day

Luke 10:8
And into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you:
Reflections On The Scripture: In the simple yet profound instruction found in Luke 10:8, we are reminded of the importance of humility, thankfulness and acceptance. When we are welcomed into new environments or situations, it is our duty as faithful servants of God to readily accept whatever is graciously offered to us. This verse is a powerful metaphor for the blessings that the Lord has generously set before us. Just as we are advised to eat what is served to us in a foreign city, we must also receive His blessings with an open heart and a spirit of gratitude, no matter how unexpected or unfamiliar they might be.
