Verse of the Day

Leviticus 25:11
A jubile shall that fiftieth year be unto you: ye shall not sow, neither reap that which groweth of itself in it, nor gather the grapes in it of thy vine undressed.
Reflections On The Scripture: This verse urges us to take a time in our lives to rest, reflect, and praise the Lord. Just as the land was given time to replenish and rest during the jubilee year, it is fundamental for our spirits to do the same. The world encourages us to continuously sow and reap, keep moving, keep labouring. But God commands us to pause, take a step back, enjoy the fruits of our labour and give thanks. In the quietness of reflection, our souls can renew, grow and deepen our relationship with the Lord. The grapes of our personal vines will grow into the sweetest, juiciest fruit when we pause and give them the care they need. By doing so, we allow ourselves to be undressed - raw, free and open - to let God into our hearts, that He may heal us, guide us, and bring us closer to Him. It is in these times of release and surrender that we find true clarity, purpose, and peace.
