Verse of the Day

Leviticus 16:14
And he shall take of the blood of the bullock, and sprinkle it with his finger upon the mercy seat eastward; and before the mercy seat shall he sprinkle of the blood with his finger seven times.
Reflections On The Scripture: In the grandeur of the divine sanctuary, the high priest was tasked with the careful and ceremonial sprinkling of the blood of the bullock on the mercy seat. This blood symbolized a sacrifice, the ultimate token of atonement for the sins of the people. It demonstrated both purity and divine redemption. Today, we no longer perform such physical rituals to secure our redemption - our spiritual sacrifice is made through the mercy and grace granted to us by our Savior who shed His blood for our sins. Remember this principle in your everyday life, acknowledging that salvation isn't earned by works or ritual but by grace and forgiveness extended through Christ's ultimate sacrifice on the cross. As you walk through life bearing this truth, wear it as a badge of honor and a reminder of His boundless and unmerited mercy.
