Reflections On The Scripture: Our God is a god of order, preparation and transition. This verse from Deuteronomy reminds us that there are seasons in our life when we are called to step down and allow others to rise. Moses, despite being a faithful servant, was aware that his earthly race was coming to an end and a new leadership under Joshua was about to begin. This divine appointment emphasizes on the importance of mentoring and readiness in God’s kingdom, and how obedience and humility play vital roles in the process. Let us then mirror this episode in our lives, creating an atmosphere where His will prevails, seeking not our own prominence but the flourishing of others. For in doing so, we allow the beautiful tapestry of God’s plan to unfold, uninterrupted by our ambitions or fears.
