Verse of the Day
Leviticus 13:46
Reflections On The Scripture: This verse from Leviticus may appear harsh at first glance, but it's essential to consider the historical context in which it was written. At the time, the measures detailed were to protect the community and stop the spread of diseases, much as we practice quarantining today. But spiritually speaking, this verse is a reminder to us about sin. Sin isolates us, makes us 'unclean,' and separates us from our spiritual camp — our relationship with God and with our fellow believers. Yet, there's hope. God, in His infinite love and mercy, has provided us a way to be cleansed, healed, and restored back to fellowship through the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross. So let us turn to him, confess our sins and seek to live a righteous life, in order to dwell in unity with our spiritual camp, and most importantly, with God.
