Verse of the Day
Judges 5:5
Reflections On The Scripture: This verse from Judges carries such a powerful demonstration of God's might and majesty. It shows that the mountains, no matter how vast or tall, melt before the Lord. It represents an irrefutable truth that nothing is too great or too formidable for our Lord. The mountains here could signify our biggest problems, our greatest fears or the seemingly insurmountable difficulties we face in life. Yet, even these 'mountains' are not beyond the influence of our God. The same way Sinai melted before God, our fears and problems too melt away in front of His divine grace. Though the challenges we face may seem impossible, they are not greater than our God. Confidence and hope springs forth as we remember that nothing is too great for our God. His power makes mountains melt like wax. His love brings comfort, His wisdom brings guidance, and His presence brings peace.
