Verse of the Day

Judges 20:23
(And the children of Israel went up and wept before the LORD until even, and asked counsel of the LORD, saying, Shall I go up again to battle against the children of Benjamin my brother? And the LORD said, Go up against him.)
Reflections On The Scripture: Life presents us with battles to fight, the daily trials and tribulations that may feel like a war against our own kin, just as the children of Israel felt against Benjamin. This verse reflects how the Israelites sought divine counsel in times of despair, through tears and prayers. When entrapped in hardships, it may seem easier to shy away from struggles, but God nudges us to confront our tribulations the way He guided the Israelites in the battle against Benjamin. God encourages us to face our problems, for it is through our brave confrontations and unwavering faith we shall emerge victorious, glorifying His name in our triumph. His assurance is our refuge in the midst of conflict and His counsel, the beacon of light leading us to victory.
