Verse of the Day

John 6:54
Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
Reflections On The Scripture: This verse reminds us of a profound spiritual nourishment found only in Christ. It's not about the physical act of eating or drinking, but rather it's about partaking in the spiritual sustenance Jesus offers. 'Eating His flesh' signifies embracing his teaching, living according to it and letting it be the very substance that fuels our life. 'Drinking His blood' symbolizes acknowledging His sacrifice, the blood He shed for our sins and aligning our lives with His eternal covenant. This leads to eternal life, a continual relationship with God, not solely afterlife but also a quality of life to be relished here and now. In this promise, there is an assurance of a divine standing by. No matter how dark the night, how deep the valley, or how fierce the storm, God is there. To 'raise him up at the last day' is more than a mere future event. It is God manifesting His unending support, His powerful presence, in our every day. Even when we stumble, He is there to raise us, to restore us, to remind us of His love which leads to eternal life.
