Verse of the Day

John 10:12
But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.
Reflections On The Scripture: In this scripture, the Lord is challenging us to reflect upon our role as leaders and caretakers in our own realms of influence. It echoes a spirit of selflessness and responsibility. The hired hand is only concerned for his own well-being, abandoning the sheep at the first sign of danger. On the contrary, the good shepherd stays and protects his flock, for they are his own. So, too, we should treat every task, every responsibility entrusted to us, be they in our homes, workplaces, or community with the same regard and commitment. It isn't about personal gain or convenience, but to sincerely care for others with selfless love and diligence. For true leadership comes not from being served, but in serving others, and showcasing the love of the Lord through our actions.
