Reflections On The Scripture: This verse calls our attention to the unchanging goodness of God, affirming His innate nature is unsullied, pure and just in every sense. We, who walk this earth as men and women of understanding, must always bear in mind that wickedness and iniquity are as far from God as the east is from the west. Any thought that suggests otherwise is a distortion of the true view of the Divine. Indeed, God cannot act outside of His good nature. Just as a seed can only yield one kind of harvest, our God can only yield goodness and righteousness. It is through this understanding that we find serenity in His promises and hope in His word, with the assurance that His plans for us are of pure intentions; free from malice and full of benevolence.
