Verse of the Day

Job 31:30
Neither have I suffered my mouth to sin by wishing a curse to his soul.
Reflections On The Scripture: The words we speak carry immense power. They have the ability to build up or break down, to encourage or discourage, to bless or curse. Job understood this profoundly. Despite his trials and sufferings, he remained careful about the words coming forth from his mouth. He minimized his pain but never allowed his anguish to curse or offend any soul. Today’s scripture reminds us to guard our words, to choose blessings over curses—even when faced with deep sorrow and pain. Remember, our words are seeds. When we speak out negative words, we plant negative seeds that will blossom into negative circumstances. But when we carefully select positive, faith-filled words, we plant positive seeds that will yield a harvest of blessings.
