Verse of the Day

Job 17:6
He hath made me also a byword of the people; and aforetime I was as a tabret.
Reflections On The Scripture: In the happenings of life's adversities, we sometimes become a target of ridicule, as Job here states that he had become a byword amongst his people. But let's not forget, it's never about how the world sees us, but how God sees us and he sees us as more than conquerors. Our Almighty Father doesn't play favorites, he holds us all dearly. Even Job, in his sufferings, was much loved and highly esteemed. So when we walk through life and the world mocks us, remember we're held with divine respect, like a tabret, an instrument in the hands of the heavenly musician, capable of producing God's delightful and harmonious tunes. Keep faith, like Job, knowing your status in God's eyes.
