Verse of the Day

Jeremiah 6:21
Therefore thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will lay stumblingblocks before this people, and the fathers and the sons together shall fall upon them; the neighbour and his friend shall perish.
Reflections On The Scripture: Life poses endless challenges that may seem like hindrances to our path. This verse from the book of Jeremiah conveys that truth through the metaphor of stumbling blocks laid before God's people. These stumbling blocks represent our trials, missteps, and struggles. However, they are not placed there for our downfall, but for our growth. It may seem at times that we are lost as we stumble, or that the people around us are falling away, but it is in these very trials that we find our true strength, summon our deepest faith, and identify those around us who provide true assistance and companionship. It is in these very stumbling blocks where we encounter the divine presence and discover His plan for us. Only through these experiences of falling can we learn the humble grace of rising.
