Verse of the Day

Isaiah 34:6
The sword of the LORD is filled with blood, it is made fat with fatness, and with the blood of lambs and goats, with the fat of the kidneys of rams: for the LORD hath a sacrifice in Bozrah, and a great slaughter in the land of Idumea.
Reflections On The Scripture: This powerful verse from the book of Isaiah paints a vivid picture of God’s judgement. While it may seem harsh, we must remember that the Lord is inherently just. His judgement is not a reflection of unkindness or cruelty, rather it's His commitment to justice. Yet in the midst of such stark imagery, lies the promise of salvation for those who believe in Him. Therefore, let it be a call to action, a plea to turn away from our sins. When we align ourselves with God's righteousness, we safeguard ourselves from the wrath of justice and instead, partake in His mercy and grace. Let this verse strengthen your resolve to live a life of profound faith and obedience, serving Him with a humble heart and an unwavering spirit. Remember, in His justice also lies His intense love for His people, promising us redemption and eternal life through Him.
