Reflections On The Scripture: This remarkable verse from Ezekiel tells us about the celestial beings having hands of a man under their wings. It resonates a beautiful and powerful message. It describes a spiritual hierarchy that is in some ways similar to us, yet endowed with the divine. It shows us that even in celestial spheres, there is a touch of humanity. The hands of a man depict our ability to work, to demonstrate our faith, to show love, and extend mercy. Meanwhile, the wings speak of God's given guardianship and protection. This intricate image serves as a reminder that humanity and divinity can coexist, symbolizing our call to integrate our human efforts with God's divine guidance and protection. We must utilize our 'hands', our abilities and gifts, under the 'wings' of God's shelter and guidance.
