Verse of the Day

Isaiah 29:15
Woe unto them that seek deep to hide their counsel from the LORD, and their works are in the dark, and they say, Who seeth us? and who knoweth us?
Reflections On The Scripture: Often, we bestow upon ourselves an illusion of secrecy, thinking our thoughts, desires, and deeds go unnoticed, that they are hidden from the eyes of the Lord. It's easy to seek solace in darkness, out of sight, and say, "Who sees us? Who knows what we do?" However, we must remember, Isaiah 29:15 makes it clear that there's no such thing as hidden or secret counsel or works from the Lord. We are reminded that the Lord sees everything, including our deepest intentions and deeds done behind closed doors. Instead of hiding our works in the dark, let's strive to shine with the pure light of honesty, righteousness, and openly seeking God's counsel. His vision is not limited by darkness, His understanding transcends all human comprehension. Under the lens of His omnipresence, there is no room for clandestine behaviour. So, let us mirror His transparency, using His guidance to perform works of faith, love, and honesty that blossom under His all-seeing gaze.
