Verse of the Day
Habakkuk 3:12
Reflections On The Scripture: Sometimes, God's actions might seem harsh, like in the verse in Habakkuk where God's indignation causes Him to thresh the heathen. It’s essential to remember that God's intentions are always rooted in love. His actions are underpinned by His divine righteousness and justice. He is not angry for anger's sake, rather His wrath is a response to sin and wrongdoing. Just like a loving parent corrects their child's fallacies, God's apparent anger is His divine way of re-routing our path towards righteousness, drawing us closer to Him, and cultivating a beautiful garden from the soil of affliction. Whatever trials we face, let's trust in God's goodwill, knowing He has the ultimate plan for us. God's anger isn't aimed at us - rather it's aimed at that which leads us away from our divine destiny.
