Verse of the Day
Genesis 7:10
Reflections On The Scripture: There are moments in life when we, too, are seemingly waiting for an impending flood. We sense that the rushing waters of change, of uncertainty, might soon overwhelm us. Yet in such times, we must remember, as Genesis 7:10 illustrates, everything happens according to God’s timing. There may be a 'seven-day' delay in your life, a challenging waiting period before the flood hits. It may seem daunting, terrifying even, but take heart! For the same God that allowed the flood also promised Noah deliverance. Just as Noah found safety in the Ark, you too, can find refuge in the Lord. So have faith, hold on, and prepare for God’s perfect plan to unfold in your life, regardless of the floods you might face. Because in the midst of your storm, the maker of the rains stands with you.
