Verse of the Day
Genesis 41:23
Reflections On The Scripture: Just as Joseph interpreted Pharaoh's dream in Genesis, we, too, may face the 'seven thin ears of grain', or trials and tribulations in our everyday lives. What looks like hardship, a withering, thin, and east wind-blasted crop, might just be a divine preparation for greater abundance. The adversities we have are not designed to break us, but to build us. They are often followed by great blessings if we remain steadfast in faith. Sometimes, our spiritual landscape may look dry and barren, but it's in these seasons that we should expect the most growth. Let's invite the Lord into our dry places today, trusting that he can turn even the thinnest, most withered areas of our obedience into a harvest of blessings.
