Verse of the Day

Genesis 25:1
Then again Abraham took a wife, and her name was Keturah.
Reflections On The Scripture: This verse from Genesis demonstrates that life continues, even after hardship and loss. Abraham was a man of faith who had experienced the loss of his beloved wife, Sarah. Yet, he did not allow his sorrow to prevent him from moving forward in life. He chose to continue living, to take another wife named Keturah. Abraham's story teaches us that even in the darkest seasons of life, there is potential for new beginnings. Each of us, like Abraham, should persist in our faith, embracing new opportunities that God presents, even when it feels like our world has been shattered. Let's remember that with our Heavenly Father, there's always light after the night and joy can spring forth from sorrow.
