Verse of the Day

Genesis 19:11
And they smote the men that were at the door of the house with blindness, both small and great: so that they wearied themselves to find the door.
Reflections On The Scripture: This verse portrays a spiritual symbolism that permeates many of our lives today. We often find ourselves blinded by our desires, ambitions, prejudices, or sins, so much so that we miss the door God has set before us. God's path often stands right in front of us, but we are too weary, too blinded by our own mistakes to see it. It’s a call to humility and self-awareness, urging us to acknowledge our human frailties, our spiritual blindness, and our desperate need for divine intervention. We must pray and plead for God to restore our spiritual sight that we may see His door, His path for us, otherwise we will continue to grope in darkness, wearied in our pursuit of an unattainable door.
