Verse of the Day

Ezekiel 35:15
As thou didst rejoice at the inheritance of the house of Israel, because it was desolate, so will I do unto thee: thou shalt be desolate, O mount Seir, and all Idumea, even all of it: and they shall know that I am the LORD.
Reflections On The Scripture: This scripture from Ezekiel is a potent message about God's judgements and the importance of humility before Him. It is a stark reminder that the Lord God is the final arbiter of justice and righteousness. The fate of Mount Seir and what happened to the house of Israel, stands as a cautionary tale where pride and greed lead to downfall and desolation. Even as these nations delighted in the suffering and desolation of Israel, they too would face the same fate due to their actions. God, the ultimate judge, equalizes everything according to His perfect wisdom. This encourages us to live with humility and grace, avoiding the pride and arrogance that lead to downfall. Our actions and attitudes towards others should always reflect the love and mercy of our heavenly Father, for He is a God of justice who sees and knows all.
